Requirements

• Degree in Policing (NQF 7)


• Registered in terms of the National Road Traffic Act 93 of 1996


• Valid driver’s license


• No criminal record


• Firearm proficiency


• Ten (10) years’ experience of which five (5) years must be managerial experience


• Knowledge of the Municipal Financial Management Act 56 of 2003

Key Performance Areas

• Plans and oversee activities of the Traffic Services to ensure that the related functions are performed


• Interacts with other Departments and relevant institutions on operational and legal matters


• Manages personnel within the Department


• Compiles budget and oversee and controls expenditure and income for the Department


• Attends to large scale operations
