Requirements

• Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 Occupational Certificate


• National Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or apprenticeship in Plumping, or Mechanical, or equivalent Trade Test Certificate in Plumbing, or Mechanical, or equivalent


• Valid Code EB Driver’s License


• Five (5) years working experience in design or operation and maintenance of reticulation network, of which two (2) years at a supervisory level

Key Performance Areas

• Clearing of conservancy, septic, sludge tanks and sumps


• Clearing of ventilated improved pit-latrine fecal sludge


• Check stock levels of chemicals, oils and greases


• Prepare monthly reports


• Supervise staff and equipment
