WARD COMMITTEE EMPOWERMENT WORKSHOP | NU 10 COMMUNITY HALL, MDANTSANE

Ward Committee Members and Community Leaders gathered at NU 10 Community Hall for an Empowerment Workshop focused on strengthening local governance and improving service delivery.

The session is led by Councillor Afrika Maxongo, in the absence of the Council Speaker, alongside Councillor Melisizwe Tutu.

The workshop brings together key stakeholders including the IEC, Eastern Cape Liquor Board, CoGTA, the Office of Traditional Leaders, and other partners who are sharing valuable insights on community participation and good governance.

The discussion highlights the important role of Ward Committees in representing communities, improving communication with the municipality, and promoting accountability and effective service delivery.
