SMART METERS | SMART CITY FRIDAYS | BEACON BAY

Buffalo City Metro‘s Smart City Friday Desk was spotted at Beacon Bay Payments Hall on Friday 9 October 2026. This initiative is aimed at educating consumers about smart meters and helping residents better understand the technology being introduced across the municipality. The campaign is set to give residents had an opportunity to engage with officials and learn more about smart meters, how they work and what the rollout means for consumers. Smart City Fridays is ultimately about putting information in the hands of consumers and ensuring that residents are equipped to navigate the transition to smart metering.
