City handed over food parcels to Parkridge Fire Victims
Buffalo City Metro together with Transnet handed over food parcels to about 50 households who were victims of a devastating blaze last month.

In the spirit of Mandela day Cllr Nceba Kilimani and Transnet Corporate affairs manager Terry tailor officiated the proceedings at Transnet Engineering and Maintenance building in East London.
These households were left destitute after a raging fire destroyed about 40 shacks and three houses in Parkridge, East London on Monday 13 July last month.
The event took place today on Wednesday 19 August.
