COVID-19 awareness campaign kicks off in BCM
On Wednesday, 02 December the Covid-19 Local Rapid Response Task Team kicked off their three-day Motorcade Awareness campaign in the City. The motorcade went around Ward 3 and Ward 47 in East London as they are identified as Hot Spot areas of the resurgence of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The aim of this campaign is to remind the Buffalo City public the importance of complying with Covid-19 precautions through loud hailing and handing out flyers at Taxi Ranks and places where a number of people gather. Other stakeholders who are part of the campaign include the Department of Health, the Department of Education, SAPS and COGTA.
