Not only that, but also fighting against Gender Based Violence in our city". "I plead with men to stop abusing women and children. Men who abuse women must know that as Buffalo City we do not condone that behavior and we will do everything to support victims of abuse," he said. Speaking during the event Chairperson of Women's Caucus Cllr Z Mtyingizane said, "Today we are here to Say no to any form of violence”. "Our goal is to create an environment where women and girls feel safe and empowered in public spaces," she said. Stakeholders present, sharing their words of support during the campaign include BCMM Youth Desk, BCMM HIV and Aids desk, Health Compliance, Fire Department, Liquior Board, Sakhikamva Educator, Floradele Ed-ucator, SAPS, FAMSA, Bumb'ingomso and Masimanyane, The campaign took place at Nompumelelo Community Hall in East London.
