METRO HOLDS BILATERALS WITH MERCEDES-BENZ
Buffalo City Metro Executive Mayor Cllr Princess Faku met with the CEO of Mercedes-Benz East London manufacturing plant Mr. Andreas Brand yesterday as part of strengthening relations between the two organizations.

The BCM delegation consisted of Council Speaker Cllr Humphrey Maxegwana, Mayoral Committee members, BCM Executive management and the BCM Development Agency.

This visit is on the footsteps of the recent one by the Ministers of Electricity where the Metro was part of an engagement with the Automotive Industry on their challenges caused by the current electricity crisis and possible short to medium term solutions.

The Metro shared with MBSA it’s plans and discussions were around areas in which working relations can be enhanced.
