BCM focuses on rural schools with Liberty Life
Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality Executive Mayor Cllr Xola Pakati together with Liberty Life visited various schools in the City donating 35 water tanks filled with water and a total of 5250 personal protective clothing

This is part of helping schools with resources towards fighting Covid 19.
Water and Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs) are one of the most efficient measures towards fighting Covid 19 and most schools in the City do not have enough resources.
Speaking at one of the schools, Cllr Pakati said, "The provision of safe water and PPEs is essential for
preventing and for protecting human health during all infectious disease outbreaks, including coronavirus dis-ease 2019",
"We are here today as means of ensuring that schools in our City adhere to Covid 19 regulations which in-clude washing of hands so that our pupils are protected from Covid 19 as well as their families".
Ward Councillors in other BCM Wards also handed over water tanks and PPEs.
This took place on Friday, 11 September.
