60 BENEFIT FROM THE MAYORAL BURSARY
Executive Mayor, Cllr Xola Pakati awarded the Mayoral Bursary to 60 prospective students who will be studying at various institutions of higher learning for the 2022 academic year on Friday 28 January 2022.”

“We are determined to play our role in the education of the children of our nation, augmenting the impact made by funding bodies such as the National Student Financial Aid Scheme," said Pakati.
The programme seeks to demonstrate the Metro’s commitment in investing in the youth through financial assistance. Since its inception in 2008 over 80 beneficiaries have graduated.
“We want to urge you to stay focused as you did during your matric year and ensure that you succeed in your studies. The bursary will provide you with all the implements, your only job is now to ensure that you complete your studies.”
