METRO TO RAID AND REMOVE ILLEGAL CONNECTIONS
The Metro is taking on the war against cable theft, vandalism and illegal connections head on.

Over the past two years, BCM has recorded 303 vandalism/theft cases occurring on the electrical network and whereby the City has suffered a direct financial loss of over R26 million due to these essential infrastructure crimes.

This morning, our Law Enforcement together with the South African Police Service (SAPS) will be raiding an area severely affected by this in East London.
