ACCOUNTABILITY AND SUPPORT ASSESSMENT OVERSIGHT VISIT
Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (Cogta) Deputy Minister Dr. Namane Dickson Masemola, together with Eastern Cape MEC for COGTA Mr. Zolile Williams, met with the leadership of the Buffalo City Metro as part of an oversight oversight session.

This was a follow up visit with the aim to ensure accountability and offer support.

The Ministry announced the deployment of 13 experts across critical areas to support the municipality’s turnaround.

The session was attended by National Treasury officials, councillors, and key government stakeholders, all working together through the District Development Model.
