The event saw over 100 women in business gathered to celebrate themselves and also learn from each other.
Welcoming guests at the event Portfolio Head for Economic Development and Agencies Cllr Sixolisiwe Ntsasela said: “Women we are who we are because of each other because of how we always know how to manage difficulties in life and bring happiness to the world.”
She added that women by nature are nurturers and have a potential to bring the world together.
The theme of the event is Where learning meets earning.
As part of the programme Head of Directorate Noludwe Ncokazi gave the purpose of the day. “By the end of today, we hope that each of us leaves not only inspired, but also equipped with new ideas, stronger connections, and the confidence to continue driving change in our industries and communities.”
The event saw a sharing session on the road to registering an ECD Centre as how to register and deregister a school. The session also saw various financial institutions sharing opportunities of funding, grants and other institutions shared information of curriculum accreditation processes.
The event culminated with music and dance, mingling and exchanging ideas from each women.
