CITY LAUNCHED 46 NEW FLEET VEHICLES AND PLANT
As part of the second leg of the launch of Operation Valazonke programme Executive Mayor Princess Faku together with the City Manager Mxolisi Yawa launched a new fleet of 46 vehicles and plant.

The plant includes Landini Super DT 100 4x4 tractors and bushcutters, crew cage tipper.

These will assist departments such as Solid Waste, Environmental Services and Amenities in responding to service delivery issues in the City.

Speaking at the launch Mayor Faku said, “As a City we are very excited to be having these 46 new fleet join the existing ones, we felt that this fleet is important as an addition it will assist us in fastracking service delivery.”

“When there is a shortage of fleet in the municipality it affects bringing basic service delivery to the people so this addition will be very helpful,” she added. The launch took place at the Braelyn workshop in East London
