METRO HOLDS OVERSIGHT MUNICIPAL PUBLIC ACCOUNTS COMMITTEE PUBLIC HEARINGS
On Friday 8th March, the Municipal Public Accounts Committee (MPAC) held the first leg of the public hearings at the Skenjana Community Hall. The purpose of the hearing was to discuss the 2022/23 Annual report for financial year ending on the 30th of June 2024.

Directorates that came before the committee for engagement and discussions were Spatial Planning and Development, Solid Waste and Environmental Services as well as Infrastructure Services. Other hearings will take place on the 11th of March the public hearings at the NU 10 Community Hall in Mdantsane, and the last hearing will be at the East London City Halll. All hearings will start at 10h00.

 

The Buffalo City Metro Executive and Legislative leadership will also be appearing before the committee including all its administrative departments
