SA NAVY IS IN TOWN
Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality welcomed the South African Navy (SAN) to the City as they celebrate the World Hydrography Day in our City on June 21. The World Hydrography Day is designed to raise awareness about hydrography and how it plays a role in improved knowledge of the seas and oceans.

Executive Mayor Cllr Princess Faku welcomed the close to 2000 Navy personnel that will be in East London until the 22nd of this month. Various activities are planned for this coming weekend
21 June - Right of Entry and Open Ships Exhibition, 22 June - Open Ships Exhibition and SA Navy Band Community Concert at the Guild Theatre. Transport will be made available for the public to the harbour at the recycling centre behind the post office for the 21st and the 22nd of June 2025.
