DISTURBING UNHYGIENIC SCENES OF SHOP OWNERS FOUND SLEEPING IN KITCHENS
The Buffalo City Metro multi stakeholder compliance and enforcement teams are undertaking an operation to enforce legislation applicable to food premises and Bylaws in and around Buffalo City.

The raids are being conducted around around East London, eQonce and Mdantsane.

During today's raids, there were disturbing and unhygienic scenes discovered of shop owners that are sleeping in the very same premises that they cook and serve customers in.

The raids are part of enforcing Bylaws targeting food selling outlets including spazas, restaurants, supermarkets, hawkers
