OVER 200 KGS OF RECYCLABLE WASTE DIVERTED FROM LANDFILL DISPOSAL

The activities undertaken included refuse collection, street cleansing, collection of recyclables, education and awareness on waste handling methods.

One-on-one education and awareness with members of public on waste handling methods was conducted with the presence of Nolitha, the no litter mascot . This included education on reusing, reducing and recycling waste.

During the campaign over 200kgs of recyclables were collected and diverted from landfill disposal.
