METRO TITLE REFORM MEETING
The City has been working with relevant local government departments in tackling challenges, property dispute cases, and various issues in order to move forward with Pre’94 and Post’94 Titling projects.
The BCMM Metro Titling Reform Working Committee has been tasked to look at challenges preventing Titling, refine processes to cut down on turn-around times in order to fast-track issuing of Title Deeds.
The municipality has opened this line of engagement with external stakeholders, as it has hosted two of these meetings in the past three years.
The session has stakeholders such as National Treasury and World Bank as well as the Provincial Department and Human Settlements.
The programme took place at Blue Lagoon.
