DIMBAZA AND GINSBERG HOUSING PROJECT | TITLE DEEDS HANDOVER
The dignity of the residents of Dimbaza and Ginsberg have been restored as they have received their title deeds.

131 residents including elders were all smiles in the inland region as they reflected back on where they come from. Acting Executive Mayor for the day Councillor Yomelela Tyali said, “To the beneficiaries gathered here, particularly our elderly residents who have waited patiently for this moment, today is a day of dignity, recognition and hope. Today we are pleased to announce that 133 title deeds will be handed over to beneficiaries.” “May these documents bring you peace of mind, strengthen your fami-lies and provide a foundation for generations to come,” he added. In closing off he said that may their children and grandchildren look back on this day and remember that their families’ ownership was formally recognised, their dignity affirmed and their future strengthened. One of the 133 new title deed owners Mzingisi Phintshana could not hide his excitement and thanked the municipality for what it had done for him and his family. “I will now die with peace in my heart that my children and grandchildren will have a home that belongs to them.”
