REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY TRIBUTE
Buffalo City residents gathered on Sunday, 10 November, at the Cenotaph War Memorial in East London to pay tribute to the brave men and women who lost their lives in service to the nation.

Acting Executive Mayor Cllr Afrika Maxongo led the wreath-laying ceremony on behalf of the Municipality, joined by war veterans, families and community members.

The annual event forms part of global Remembrance Day commemorations, marking the end of World War I and honouring all who have served in conflicts since.

Red poppies were worn as a symbol of remembrance and hope for lasting peace.
