Requirements

• Grade 12 plus N5 Electrical Engineering


• Qualified Artisan in a Senior position in a Local Authority (Distribution environment)


• Project Management and communication skills


• Five (5) years as a qualified Electrician within a Municipal environment

Key Performance Areas

• Prepares and evaluates contracts


• Supervises contractual projects


• Plans and designs all high, medium and low voltage electricity works


• Investigates relevant Town Planning applications


• Updates progress reports on contracts progression as well as projects


• Provides cost estimates on proposed projects
