JUST in time to celebrate the beginning of the World Cup, comedian Marc Lottering is in town presenting his new show, Marc Lottering – Not in 3D.
Lottering gets to East London a day before the kickoff of the international football tournament. He will perform at the Guild Theatre on 10 and 12 June. The World Cup starts on 11 June, and ends a month later on 11 July.
In his new show, Lottering's alter egos – Auntie Merle Abrahams and Smiley the Taxi Dude – put in an appearance. Among other things, he will share his views on how to stop people from using their cellphones at the movies and how to make love to foreigners during the World Cup.
