METRO CLEAN UP CAMPAIGN IN EGOLI
The City Solid Waste Department together with Sanitation embarked on a clean-up campaign this morning in Ward 10.

Portfolio Head for Solid Waste and Environmental Management Clara Morolong-Yekiso said, “This has been long coming, when the ward councillor reached out to me to come clean in her ward as it needed some cleaning as a department”

The department’s Waste Minimasation Education and Planning Unit also educated the residents of Ward 10 on the importance of keeping their area clean.

The campaign took place on 2 August 2023.
