26 DRUNK DRIVERS ARRESTED THUS FAR AS EASTER WEEKEND ROADS SAFETY OPERATIONS CONTINUE
The Buffalo City Metro is still continuing with its roads and driver fitness operations to ensure that there is safety in our roads during this period.

A total of 26 Drunken Driving Arrests have been arrested thus far.

 

Areas of concentration thus far have been Ntabozuko, Zwelitsha, Bhisho and eQonce.

1 Warrant of Arrest

ANPR BUS SYSTEM roadblock statistics:

* 40 fines resulting in payments

* Amount paid R21 300

SPEEDING statistics:

* North East Expressway

* Cases 650

* Highest Speeds 112km/h and 109km/h in a 60km/h zone

The Metro will continue with road safety operations throughout the long Eater weekend.
