Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality is committed to delivering services in an open, fair and transparent manner and has zero tolerance to fraud and corruption. The City subscribes to the principles of good governance and strive to be a well governed City and as such have appointed an independent external service provider to host our fraud hotline.
The Metro urges members of the community and staff to partner with the Fraud Hotline to fight fraud and corruption, be part of the cause that fights fraud and corruption through reporting any cases of alleged fraud and corruption through the fraud hotline.
When reporting: You may remain anonymous, provide full detail in respect of the unethical practise to the agent/ operator. Such details may include:
• Who is involved or doing what
• What has happened
• How was it done and how often
• Where is it done
• When was the incident observed
• Values involved- monetary
